Social Media and Marketing Manager

Your Role:

You are curious and you’re a problem solver who can multitask and get your hands dirty.  You think across the company to keep our internal teams informed and involved in marketing activities and you think about our end consumer to keep them engaged and excited about what GoldieBlox has to offer parents and kids.  You are eager to work in a fast-paced/start-up type of environment and enthusiastic to work for a mission-based brand.

More tactically speaking, your responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with Marketing and Sales teams to oversee and execute social media strategies, guidelines, best practices, promotional campaigns, and day-to-day activities while optimizing the brand’s presence across multiple kid and parent channels.
  • Developing social media video, imagery and copy for both editorial and marketing efforts.
  • Providing and interpreting analytics of social campaigns.
  • Manage relationships and communication with influencers/agents

Social Media

  • Collaborating with Marketing and Sales teams to oversee and execute social media strategies, guidelines, best practices, promotional campaigns, and day-to-day activities while optimizing the brand’s presence across multiple kid and parent channels.
  • Developing social media video, imagery and copy for both editorial and marketing efforts.

Marketing Manager

  • Day to day execution and management of marketing initiatives.  From product launches to partnerships to brand campaigns, you are fully in the mix helping ideate as well as managing project calendars, asset trafficking and overall coordination within the company and with external partners.  
  • Providing support to the Media Sales Team and Licensing Sales Team, including research, coordination, and execution of marketing strategies for brand clients and retail partners.
  • Developing and growing promotional partnerships to drive new audiences to GoldieBlox content, products, and services.

You Have

  • Passion for the brand and the mission – we truly believe in what we are doing
  • Previous social media experience – running your dog’s Instagram may not suffice
  • 5+ years of previous marketing experience and a desire to deep into all of marketing  (and more).  We are nimble and wear a lot of hats so we need people who can do a lot of things.
  • Connection to current events and social media trends – you love to be the one who identifies early trends or maybe helps set them?
  • Copywriting skills and ideally some design experience – how are your GIF skills?
  • A love for collaboration and the ability to build relationships internally and externally.
  • Mad organizational skills – you’ve never met a calendar you didn’t like
  • A “roll up your sleeves” attitude – that’s how we roll… all of us
