Featured in our third campisode of What’s the Scoop? is Expedition Leader Allison Fundis. During this campisode, Allison answers questions about her job researching ocean wildlife and how kids interested in learning more about the ocean can get into the field. 

Allison Fundis has been researching and exploring the ocean for the last 15 years. She has led or participated in more than 50 expeditions at sea that study shipwrecks, unknown ocean wildlife, underwater volcanoes and more. One of the expeditions even searched for Amelia Earhart’s airplane! As the Chief Operating Officer for the Ocean Exploration Trust, Allison leads a team of scientists, engineers and educators on these expeditions.
